~ Back in Bankok

So I'm now back on Bankok's Khaosan road. Decided not to go to Chaing Mai eftersom att we don't have that many days left in Thailand before we have to leave the contry. We'll se where we heading insteed, so exited.

Spenderade gårdagen med shopping in the city centre. Bought some new shoes and sunglasses for the 5th time, medicin for all of my infekterade myggbett (they getting better), klämmor, smycken and a new scarf cause of course I lost my old one. For those who know me vet att I like shopping just as much as jag gillar att sola. Not at all. Wish I could sent my littlesister to this super mega 5floor shoppingcentre insteed, cause she would love it.

Last night we met up with two swedish friends that we met on the plane from sweden. And who we later on runed into in bankok, and ended up in the same divingcourse at Koh Tao and who I, a few days later, met again on the boat back to koh Pangan. Well, they are flying to Hawaii today so we went out for a couple of beers. Had a great time but need some more sleep.

- Koh Tao 29/1

Så efter många om och men, sena kvällar kvällar hos trafikbyrån och biljettstrul hit och dit, är jag alltså inte påväg till Chiang Mai but back on beautiful Koh Tao. All the train, bus and boatticket were sold out so we were kinda stuck on this ilands. Got a ticket to koh tao at least, so I could meet up with Beccy again. Heading to Bankok och vidare today! Hopefully ..

~ Koh Pangyan

So I spent the last few days here on koh pangyan, famous for all the beachparties. Idag mår vi alltså inte så bra. Went to fullmoonparty last night. Like the biggest beachparty in the world. Crazy. Hanged out with Vicky, her swedish friend who arrived yesterday samt some really friendly guys from Taiwan who we met a couple of days ago. Had so much fun, and were dancing until like 11 am this morning.
Dagarna har vi spenderat på stranden, jobbat på brännan. Det går sådär, himla tråkigt att sola. But it has to be done.

Me and Vicky are staying in a doorm, perfect located close to the beach. Sharing bed to save some money. And cause we wanted to be at the same place, and that one got full before I did my booking. But its okay, Cheeper this way.

During my time here in Thailand i lost like five par of shoes. Idont know how I do it, they just apear. Like all of my sunglasses. Well, guess I have to buy some new ones så att jag inte trampar på mer glas.

Anyway .. Tomorrow I have to say goodbye to Vicky after this amazing week we spent toghether. But I guess I have go visit her in Australia then. I meeting up with Rebecca again on our way to Chang Mai, north of Thailand. Looking foward to that.

- Tonsai, Krabi

Had the most fantastic day yesterday. Woke up early to go rockclimbing again. This time without any security, but over the ocean. It was this incredible rock where you climb as high as you can and then jump into the sea. I love to cliffjump, and to rockclimb so it was just the perfect combination. The climbing routlevel was kinda hard, and i dont got that much of climbingskills. But on the other hand I'm not afraid of high hights so could climb as high as I could and then jump from there when some of the others had to stop climbing cause there were afraid if jumping. Anyway, i really loved it. Climbed up to like 18 meters and jumped back inte the water. Wow.

We moved to Tonsay a couple of days ago. Another beach in the same area. Met really good people and a nice guy who guided us to another viewpoint in the middle of a mointain. We acually had to du some clinbing throught the mointain and all this caves where it was so dark that you couldn't even see your hand in front if you. But it was really cool. Moving on to koh Pan ngan today.

I really don't miss Sweden at all, but wish that I could share my time here with my friends and family. Who I really love and miss. Im glad that my mom forced me to write this blog cause I want you all to know that I having the best time of my live. Take care!

Railay, krabi 20/1

Chillar with Vicky and some Mohitos at local bar here in Railay. really cosy and free wifi. Yeah.
So Railay, the capital of rockclimbing and the thai hippies hometown, and I love it. Really small town, no roads, cosy atmosphere and not this touristy as I am use to. We are staying in this discusting place. Its like a bungalow with only a madrass på golvet, myggnät och en fläkt. De delade toaletterna är terrible och inte ens riktiga. Anyway, have to experience that kind of place too.

Today we been rockclimbing. For real with like skor, säkring and everything. Amazing and a really fantastic view from up there. It was hard sometimes but really really fun, och svettigt. During eftermiddagen we used our climbing skills to go to the laugon. And we really used to use them. Det var ingen promenadstig direkt utan stupade rakt ner flera meter. Climbing was necessary and really dangerous. Don't even now how they kan uppmuntra turister to go there. Its like sending them to hell. The laugon was amazing. The wather wasn't that good to swim in though. And for me, the climbing dit was more than half of the experience. Verkligen häftigt. On our way home we tog omvägen förbi the place callet viewpoint where you have this amazing view over Railay.

Well, do I need to say that I had the best day? brobably not. I'm so awesome love my life.

Koh Phi Phi 19/1

- Fler saker som jag har lärt mig. Att resa själv betyder inte att man reser ensam. During my traveling by my self time, i've been alone for maximum like an hour. You meet the greatest people everywhere. And Im now going with Vicky to Railay beach today. Yesterday, 2 swedish friends from my diving course arrived to phiphi, so we spent some time toghether and had so much fun during the night.

- Om man är på phi phi, boka aldrig boende på long beach. Det förstod ni säkert by my last inlägg.

- Sweden is really boring, jag vill aldrig åka hem.

- If you want to lämna in your clothes for laundry, make sure that you still got something last to wear. The other day I handed in all my clothes in the morning, before I went to the beach in my bikini. When I got back a few hours later i got nothing to wear. Only my bikini. Not that clever.

- koh Phi Phi

It been some crazy days och crazy nights around here. Well, i decided to go to phiphi by myself, so i took the nightboat and arrived in the morning 2 days ago. För att vara säker på att få ett rum i did a online reservation on a hostel the day before. Det visade sig dock att this hostel were located like far away, on a seperate beach and i had to take a long tail taxi boat to get there. There were no other people in my dorm, the electricity didnt work and I was like Var fan har jag hamnat?
But after i while I met this swedish girl Vicky, in my dorm who made the same misstake as i dit. So we decided to try to walk to the centre of phiphi which is like half an hour walk up and down through the forest. We made it and went på upptäcksfärd during the day.

In the evening we went back to the city to drink some chang beer. My friend meet a cute guy and we ended up crashing at his place cus we couldn go back to ours. I got his bed while they were sleeping on the floor.

The next morning, like yesterday I moved to another hostel in the city together with Vicky, before we went on this sightseeing day trip to visit all the ilands around here and doing some snorkeling. Amazing. Really. Beautiful view. Met some monkeys too. Long boatride though witch made me kinda seasick, slutade med att jag hängde över båträcket while puking. Fresh.

When we got back we did some naping and hanged out with all these really friendly people from our dorm before we went to this beachparty all together. They are so nice friendly around here. Today we just beeing chilling at the beach, have to work on my tan.

Koh Tao 15/1

Okej, so this last days in Koh Tao has been amazing. Really. Did some fantastic diving, and can from here on call myself a certificated open water diver. Cool. Feels so unreal but with the greatest feeling when you just swiming in the water like 18 meter under ytan, in the same time as you are breething. Man är helt tyngdlös, svävande lixom. Well so yesterday we finished our ow diving course around 12, and thereafter we rent varsin moped and drived to the shark bay, together with the rest of the group. All swedish. Just relaxed on this amazing beach for a couple of hours. Later that night we celebrated that we made the diving by wathing a movie som filmades på oss under vårt sista dyk, eating dinner, drinking a lot of thailand chang beer and buckets, dancing and that regular stuff. Had a great time.

Today I'm leaving my travelbuddie Rebecca on this iland while Im going my own way. Havent decide where to go yet but probably koh phi phi eller koh samoi. Det löser sig, även om det regnar!

- Koh Tao 11/1

Okej! new day, new location, nya möjligheter.
So, im now at Koh Tao after 15 hours of travelling from Bankok. This beautiful little iland in the south of Bankok, where we are going to do some diving during these days.

When you are travelling a long way like I did tonight, specally when you dont have this little tv-screen you had on the plane, you have a lot if time to do some good thinking.
Not about important stuff like what to do with my life and stuff like that, but about this contry, this culture and all this people you are meeting. When you are travelling like i do you learning a lot during your way.

1. Thailand is very cheep and very hot
2. Australian guys is always really friendly
3. You usally have to be 20years old to buy alcohol, but they never check your age. The have this big sign outside the bars that says"WE DON'T CHECK ID"
4. their thaländska beer is fantastic, taste like heaven. Named chang.
5. asians probably have very tiny assholes, and toilets who are constructed därefter.
6. you put all your money on wather, beer and sunglasses.

But the very most important thing I learned after this week in Thailand is that you always should use your moneybelt in the way it should be used. Close to your body. Not instoppad i handbagaget under your seat during 10hours of bussresa.
Well, several people told me this but sometimes you have to make the misstake youself to realize the truth. Speciellt om namnet är Sandra Roxendal, a young and stupid girl.

Anyway, I got almost all of my money stolen from me. 200 usdollar, and 2000 bath. Trist. But most of all i'm thankful that they left me my visacard, passport, camera and drivinglicence, and i still got some money left.
I svenska kronor I lost about 3000. And there my whole julaftonsinkomst went to a fattig Thailändare. Could be worse!

Last day in Bankok. 10/1

So, last day in Bankok. Leaving at 6pm today, mot söder. Koh Tao for some diving. Just got kicked out from the hostel. Had to check out before klockan 12, vilket är very tidigt if you went to sleep the time I did.
Jag börjar förstå varför our room was so fucking cheep, like less than 30kr per night. No wi-fi and no air-conditon vilket gjorde det freeking fucking hot during the night. I don't know vad som är värst, this hot or sweedish cold. But i think the second alternative, really don't miss the sweedish väder.

Anyway, went to one if theese sightseeing tour trip yesterday. To Kanchanuburi, to do some elephantriding, bamburafting- typ flotte and swim in an amazing waterfall. Vi funderade på tigertemple as well, were you pay to gosa med tigrar. But I don't really support grejen, då de använder djuren just to earn some money on the tourists and got the tigers all druged and stuff. Our tour was good, men med ganska dålig service och we had to pay extra for things that should be included. Visserligen var det himla billigt anyway. We had really fun and met some more amazing people. The are like everywhere. Took our first swim in Thailand, in a river från bambuflotten, and then later in this amazing waterfall. Amazing!

- Bankok, 8/1

4th day in Bankok, and I'm having the worst hangover in my life. var ute på lite too many beers last night; but had a reakky good time and met some amazing people.
Well, we moved tho khosanroad, backpackerstreet, yesterday morning and stayed at a lovely hostel with really nice and friendly people. Dessvärre fick vi inte stanna another night, då det var fullbokat. Istället har vi flyttat till another very cheep hostel ett kvarter bort. Där har vi världens billigaste veganska gatukök just across the street. 20 bath per måltid, vilket är ca 4-5 svenska kronor. Perfekt!

- Bankok. Yeah!

The flightrip went extremely well and i'm now in Bang Na, Bankok. We are couchsurfing, and hosted by a sweet girl named Mapang. She took us to the a bigbig shoppingcentrer, like bigger than you can imagine togheter with her sister and close friend.
This morning we went to our own city tour trip, me and Rebecca. Took the skytrain to central Bankok and the boat along the river to the great parts of bankok. Vi gick vise almost hela tiden men hittade tillslut till backpackerstreet. Named it myself cus i always forget its real name. It is the street were all the backpacker are hanging out, butget hostels, billigtbilligt överallt and great party. Thinking of staying there our last night in Bankok before going to Pattaya on tuesday.

Det är jättevarmt alltid, have to put alla mina pengar on buying wather. How boring isn't that?!

Äventyret har börjat

Befinner mig på Frankfurt flygplats, och trista kalla sverige är nu bara ett minne blott. Med världens resa framför oss lyfter vi strax vidare mot Thailand och vidare genom laos, kambodga, vietnam. Kanske malaysia, kanske nya zeeland, australien? vem vet. Nu väntas bara värmen, spänningen, kulturen, nya människor, upplevelser. Nu börjar äventyret!
