Mui Ne is a beautiful small town with an amazing seaview, famous for the kitesurfing and huge sanddunes. Me and Natalie are staying in a single private room, and are sharing a tiny bed to save some money. Arrived in the evening and met up with Nick and the english guys I travelled around the islands of Sihanoukville with. Planned to go out together but got stuck at their hostelroom drinking wine and playing flipcup.
The next morning we spend a couple of hours sleeping on the beach and swimming with the waves before renting a motorbike again. Decided to share one to make it cheaper. Given that both me and Natalie crashed our bikes the last time, none of us had any allegiance to our driving. Specially not with someone on the back. We was about to find the sanddune, which is harder than you may think. I am totally lost when it comes to locations. Natalie is even worse. None of us was thinking about checking the tank which made us end up, all alone in the middle of nowhere with no gas left. After a while we stopped a local man on a moto who was happy to help us and gave us gas enaugh to take us to the pentholstation. We finally maked it to the red sanddune for sunset, which was incredible. Red sandy areas as far as you can see, while the sun is going down. Never seen something like that.
Met up with Carmen for dinner and st patricksday celebration. Went from bar to bar to get free drink cause of our green shirts. Wasn't that much going on though, and to many russians.
